From The Desk of The Founder: Connecting The Dots With Automation
There comes a point in life when you have to change the priority of gathering information, at least temporarily. You have to replace gather with action. Over the past four years I’ve been building an online business. It took nearly four years for me to make money online, and ironically I made it because of an in person connection. Surprise? I think not. Making money online is actually not all that complicated. There are countless options to do so; I didn’t make money as a choice, opposed to "not being able too".

I've spent nearly my entire life enrolled in some schooling program. If I'm not enrolled in a school program, I feel dead. I love acquiring new skills and new education. If you don't like learning, I have nothing further to say, and I insist you stop reading because you will never agree with the words I sling.
Want to be a word-slinger? Get into writing. Copy, blog, creative, screen, stage, anything writing. If you write, you will get better. You write so much the blank page isn't daunting anymore since you're more accustomed to the effort it takes to fill it up. I get upset nowadays when I get close to the end of my journal. It means that I have to pay for another one; starting your own startup doesn't come with a hefty paycheck. Writing and working on films was what I was doing before Launchpadds. I was following my passion. At the same time, I kept on fighting to try to figure out a way to profit using my laptop. Who doesn't want to be like the people on their laptops traveling around foreign countries with white sand beaches and exotic forests?
Making money online is easy, right? But making money online in a way that makes you feel good was not something that came easy to me. I refuse to scam people, or sell garbage Chinese made products on Shopify. I would have respect for Americans who do, but I don't. I don't have respect because knowingly (or ignorantly) users are contributing to poisoning society. We desperately need to revisit the trends we follow that lead us to making purchasing decisions that we do, and take responsibility for what we buy.

I view selling Chinese products to people in America is ignorant and against American principles. I think the growth of drop-shipping has made it more difficult for ethical businesses to succeed. Sure, fill up your amazon cart with everything you need, but did you bother to check where it's coming from? The products we let infant children chew could have been manufactured in a factory ran by minors, that processes some of the nastiest chemicals the earth has. How else could that plastic be so cheap?
All this aside, I wanted to make money online with something that I felt good about. When I put my name on the line, you damn well know it's going to be top tier.

Every business is a risk. Entrepreneurs need a cost-effective way to automate time consuming tasks. I don't have any intention to be tied to my keyboard more than I already am. I don't have the patience to follow up with cold leads when I have a business to build or a movie to shoot.
